Boza & Roel Funeral home have a special way of caring for your love ones from the first time you dial them, to making arrangements and later parting ways with your loved one. This being my first time losing someone so close to me and having no clue the steps I had to take while being emotionally vulnerable and unknowledgeable, Boza & Roel answered all my questions in detail, while giving me the time to process under all the emotions. Not only did Boza & Roel care for my father but cared for me and my family in the process. Thank you Boza & Roel and Yesi for the professionalism & support demonstrated during the visitation of saying our goodbyes to my father. We greatly appreciate your assistance throughout our most emotional moments and reaching out to me to check in over time. Losing a parent was the worst pain I ever experienced, knowing my father was comfortable throughout the arrangements and now at peace I’m very glad I chose Boza & Roel Funeral Home.

The Boza name has been a long-time staple in the city of Tampa funeral business - whereas my Mother’s (1987) and Grandmother’s (2012) services were handled meticulous by A.P. Boza and Boza and Roel respectively. So when my Dad’s health started to fail in 2019, he wanted to pre-plan his services so that myself or my brother wouldn’t have to make any painstaking decisions. We easily decided to utilize the Boza and Roel Funeral Home. 4 years ago, I spent over 4 hours with Mary Titmus from Boza and Roel, myself and my Dad vis telephone to get every detail on paper. My Dad felt relieved as well as my brother and myself that everyone was done. Well, Dad passed away a week ago and the process of getting him to the funeral home was seamless. Our director this week was Yessenia Ulloa and she was a pleasure to work with in finalizing all the details that we couldn’t take care of until my Dad had passed. Thank you to Jessie as well as all the staff who handled all the logistics on the day of the services. My Dad looked good and I know he would have given his stamp of approval.

My Name is Robin I lost my father a couple of days ago and it’s been the hardest my family and I have been through. Upon entering Boza & Roel we felt a certain connection to the funeral home we knew that my father would have loved this place. I also want to highlight the service. My mother passed away on March 4, 2023 at the age of 91 and because I don’t live in the state of Florida and she was living in an Assisted Living Facility in Tampa, Florida and was battling dementia for many years, I decided to make funeral arrangements and chose Boza & Roel from the phone because of the good reviews that I read prior to signing a contract which was done all over the phone. Upon her passing I gave the hospital where she was at the time the funeral home information and everything was taking care right away. On March 6th my brother and I went to the funeral home to finalize the details, I can’t say enough good things about Jessenia the funeral director that took care of us. She was very helpful, showed that she really cared and with so much empathy, listened to all we had to say and answered all our questions, we left the funeral home with an immense sense of peace, comfort and trust. It made me feel that I made the right decision choosing them.

January 2023 proved to be a most difficult time for our family. Dreading to have to deal with funeral arrangements, we called Boza and Roel. Arriving at our appointment, you never really know what to expect, but when we were greeted by Lupe, her softness, kindness and overall concern for our family was just what we needed during this painful process. The services provided went smoothly and we had only to concentrate on our family and grieving. Lupe 's attention to detail to remember our loved one was taken care of with love and respect. We could not have asked for a better place and especially a better director to take care of our family. Thank you.
