We cannot thank this funeral home enough for the incredible care and compassion they showed our family during such a difficult time. From the very first phone call, the communication was outstanding. Lupe was incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful from the beginning, and Shane Lacey, the funeral Director, went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Shane was extremely responsive, but more than that, his communication was proactive — he was constantly following up with us to make sure everything was handled and that we had what we needed. On the day of the service, he was there making sure everything ran smoothly, which gave us so much peace of mind during an emotional day. Even after the service, when Shane was going to be out for a few days, he made sure another staff member was fully informed and ready to assist us with obtaining the death certificates and ashes. That level of organization and care truly stood out. There was a small mishap with the ashes not being divided the way we had requested, but the team addressed and corrected the issue immediately. Most importantly, they made us feel heard and supported every step of the way. The compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail they showed our family were truly exceptional. We are deeply grateful. Thank you for making such a painful experience a little easier to navigate.

We were lucky to have been put in contact with Boza and Roel. We dealt with Shane, who took control and eased our frustrations. He contacted organizations like the V.A. to help us and kept us informed of everything along the way. Shane is a man of great empathy who understood all we were going through. A sudden death of a loved one is never easy but the entire staff was amazing and they facilitated and handled everything with dignity and compassion. All services they provided from the pick up to arrangements and the cremation were all completed quickly and with as little trauma as possible. Feedback of Ms. Lupe Valdes services at Boza & Roel Funeral Homes: Ms. Valdes is the consummate professional. Patient, caring, and service oriented, she was a God send to our family in times of need. My situation was somewhat special because I reside in Texas and I was afraid our communication channels would be a distraction and a burden. On the contrary, Ms. Valdes was always there for us and everything went according to plan and as described in the funeral home balance sheet (costs of the funeral). Mariah was so patience, empathetic and understanding of my families situation. We had a very limited time from the time of death of my father till we have to transfer his body back home to Ethiopia. Mariah and her team worked tirelessly for 5 days to make my father’s wish come in a very short time. They went out of their way and provided us with an excellent customer service and funeral prayer service at their funeral home. They also allowed us to bring our own traditional food for the reception afterwards, helped us with the setup and breakdown of our event. I give Mariah and her team 10 out of 5, spectacular service.
