During one of the most difficult times in our lives, the Boza staff showed our family so much compassion, patience, and care. From the very first moment, they guided us through everything with kindness and professionalism, making a painful process feel a little more manageable. Shayne and Lupe were super great to work with. Thank you 🙏

We are very disappointed with the service received at this funeral home. My mom purchased a funeral service many years ago. Then, at the time of her passing, and after meeting with the funeral home representatives (Director Mariah and Maria) we realized that Mom had purchased services she did not want, such as open casket funeral, and so on. So technically she had paid enough money for the cremation, and some extra items such as a portrait and cards. We did not need the welcoming tour we received when we first got to the funeral home at the time of my Mom's passing; they should have listened to us before trying to sell us more products…we were mourning, grieving, and the last thing we wanted to hear was someone trying to sell us products. So, after hearing from Mariah and Maria that we had paid enough money to cover for the services my Mom wanted, they assured us they will be available by phone or email in case we had any questions while my Mom's body waited to be cremated. And here is where it gets difficult for us - after the first two weeks after my Mom's passing, I started emailing Mariah and Maria, asking for a status report, but no response. To make the story short, I never received a call back from Mariah or Maria. Eventually, we got in touch with Lupe and she helped us from that moment on. In the end, we heard our Mom's ashes were ready for pickup after making a call to the funeral home. Less important issues but nevertheless worth mentioning is the fact that one of the two portraits on my Mom had a noticeable defect in the frame. I ended up fixing it myself back at home, but as soon as I get the chance I will replace it since the frame is obviously of very cheap material. The cards with Mom's photo and prayer were made of cheap material; and it was not even laminated. You would say all the extra money paid should have been enough for the print or lamination. In the end, the most important issue I will recommend the funeral home to address is the lack of communication and empathy with those staying behind and grieving in such desperate moment. I would not want that to happen to anybody else. On March 2 2024, my Mom's ashes received a burial at sea, and with survey we are closing this sad chapter in our lives. We will move on and attempt to forget this painful episode we had we Boza and Roel Funeral Home in Tampa.

Just wanted to acknowledge the special treatment received from Maria Gonzalez since the very first day that she contacted me to schedule our family's appointment after I had to contact the funeral home following my dad's sudden death. Maria has been very caring and extremely helpful. She has taken care of me and my family with a lot of devotion. I highly recommend her if anyone needs these services. In this kind of situations in which we lose a family member and we do not know what to do, it is extremely important to receive the kind of support that I was blessed to receive from Maria. She has been very caring and loving in our deepest moments of sorrow. Thank you very much Maria Gonzalez. Our family, and specially me, thank you from the bottom of our heart. After losing my mother, I needed a place that would be compassionate and caring to my situation. The attention that was given me, they went over and beyond! My mother passed in October in 2022. It’s been over a month and I am still getting text and calls checking in to see how I am doing. They truly do care to make the experience as comforting and caring as possible. I highly, highly recommend Boza and Roal Funeral Home!

We came to Boza & Roel on a referral from a dear college and we were not disappointed! The service Mr. Dan Miller, Karen and staff provided my family during this helpless time of need was with compassion and empathy. My husband was proud of his families Ashkenazim Jewish religion and Mr. Miller went out of his way to accommodate this in the ceremony. Karen would call me just to check in. We unexpectedly lost my husband in December as I revisited 3 months later Mr. Miller called me by name, remembered my family and my husbands names, above and beyond. As I was leaving Mr. Miller & Karen reached out to hug me, I could feel their angel wings under their suit coats. My family is very pleased with Boza & Roel and will continue to refer so others can experience the compassion they provided me and my family at our helplessness time of need. The Weisgals

The way Dan Miller treated my wife is unacceptable for any type of business, especially one dealing in bereavement. I would recommend elsewhere or request one of the other staff, they do have a beautiful funeral home.
